The cost of a meal is currently £2.60 per child and is payable via Arbor Pay.
The meal price is increasing from 22nd April 2025 to £3 per meal and this is payable via Arbor Pay.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Universal Free Meal. However, if your family is in receipt of benefits, you may be entitled to Free School Meals. Please see details of web links below.
You may be eligible for Free School Meals for your child(ren) if you receive any of the following:
● Income Support
● Income-based Jobseekers Allowance
● Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
● Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
● the guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
● Child Tax Credit (provided they were not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and had an annual gross income of no more than £16,190, as assessed by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs)
● Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
● Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits)

If your child is eligible for a Free School Meal, and registered via the local authority, your child may be eligible for the Huggg vouchers issued during holiday periods.
