This half-term is flying by!
Thank you to all our parents and carers who attended our Parents’ Evening this week π¨π©π§π¦. We hope you found the conversations valuable in understanding how your child is progressing and how best to support their learning at home.
Over the past week, Mrs Wood, Mr Sharp and I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting more classrooms and seeing the fantastic learning opportunities our teachers are providing π©π«π¨π«. It’s always a joy to witness the creativity, enthusiasm, and engagement across the school. Some of this week's lesson highlights included:
As we head into the final week of this half-term, we have a jam-packed schedule of final events π
.
On Monday, we’ll be unveiling our Harvest Donations Rainbow π – thank you so much in advance for your generous contributions to support our local community centre’s food store. We’re also excited for our Autumn Disco on Thursday evening, especially as our summer survey showed that both parents and children see school discos as a 'right of passage' within our primary school experience - we can’t wait to see everyone’s costumes and dance moves! Finally, on Friday 24th October, children are invited to wear mufti (non-uniform) in exchange for a donation to the PTFA Tombola. Suggested items include:
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable half-term break when it arrives π.
Warm regards,
Mrs Hannah Morgan
