Oakwood is an inclusive school with children at the heart of everything we do!  We work hard to provide a learning environment and offer provision that supports all our children to make the best possible progress in their learning.

Mrs Wood (our Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and SENDCo) would be delighted to talk with you about our 'offer' in school and regularly publishes a termly inclusion newsletter around 'all things inclusion!'  

This year (2025-26) we are proud to be part of the PINs Project in East Sussex, which raises the profile of Neurodiversity in schools and evolve teachers' practice.  Please do look out for details of upcoming coffee mornings which will provide further information on this!
